Learn to craft hand-sewn samples in a relaxed environment, developing your skills and confidence in a small group. Suitable for beginners who can thread a needle and work a straight line on a sewing machine.
Learn the fundamental stitches and processes to create the following samples:
Hand Sewn, Lined, Pencil Pleat Curtain
Hand Sewn, Interlined, Pencil Pleat Curtain
Zipped square cushion
Lined Roman Blind
Integrated into the course will be skills sessions on the following:
Measuring up, Estimation of Fabric, Cutting Plan, Pattern Matching, Pattern placement
Comprehensive notes accompany the course.

Suitable for those who have completed Part One, or who have made curtains before, and are confident on the sewing machine
Build on the fundamentals learnt in the Part One course to create the following samples:
Hand Headed Interlined Triple Pleated Curtain
Contrast Edge with Trim, interlined Pencil Pleated Curtain
Interlined Roman Blind with contrast border or trim
Piped/trimmed and Zipped cushion with contrast sides
Integrated into the course will be skills sessions on the following:
Measuring up, Estimation of Fabric, Cutting Plan, Pattern Matching, Pattern placement, Track vs poles, Dressing in
Comprehensive notes accompany the course

Part One and Part Two include all materials, use of our sewing machines and comprehensive notes and tuition
