About us

We’re Adam and Philippa, a happily married couple embarking on an exciting new adventure in the beautiful village of Fresselines.

Adam spent many years working as a mortgage broker, while Philippa began her career at the BBC before going on to run a successful soft furnishings training business for over twenty years, helping others establish and grow their own creative enterprises.

After relocating to the South Coast of England, space constraints made it difficult to continue the soft furnishings business on the same scale, so together we expanded our property renovation and buy-to-let portfolio. Seeking a new challenge and a change of lifestyle, we decided to leave behind the increasing red tape of the UK and bring our vision to life in France.

We are looking forward to welcoming guests to our creative courses and sharing everything this inspiring region has to offer. Philippa also hopes that, for many years to come, fellow artisans will use her purpose-built studio to host their own workshops, further enriching the vibrant artistic community of the renowned Valley of the Painters.

Adding to the excitement, our journey—with all its inevitable highs and lows—will be featured on Chateau DIY, and we can’t wait to share the experience with you!
